It had been a tough winter and a tougher spring. My marriage officially ended in April. The reality is; my marriage had been over long before. Divorce is such an ugly thing. Divorce is even uglier when someone you loved turns on you with a vindictive rage.

  • Your story made me think of my divorce a bunch of years ago and how it would have been a lot easier to clear my head and sort things out if I would have had a bike at the time and taken a road trip like you. Looking forward to part 2!
  • Two wheel therapy is the best therapy around.
  • I have found that a road trip or two a year be it short or long is very therapeutic. It gives one time to relax and enjoy the open road and all it has to offer. Meet new people and see new places. Anyone who has not done so, I highly recommend it. You and your bike become one and the asphalt beneath becomes your conduit to pure bliss. :-)
